Laravel & PHP development

Hire a freelance Laravel developer in India

I build, upgrade and rescue Laravel applications: SaaS platforms, REST APIs for mobile apps, admin dashboards and e-commerce backends. With 7+ years of remote PHP experience and hands-on server skills, I deliver code that stays fast and stable in production, not just on my laptop.

What I do

Laravel services

Custom web applications & SaaS

Multi-role platforms with authentication, permissions, billing, notifications and admin panels, built on clean Laravel architecture.

REST APIs & mobile backends

Documented, versioned APIs for React, Next.js, Flutter or native apps, with token auth (Sanctum or Passport), validation and rate limiting.

Laravel version upgrades

Step-by-step upgrades (for example 10 → 11 → 12) including PHP 8.2+, Carbon 3 and dependency updates, without breaking production.

Performance & stability fixes

Slow pages, timeouts and crashes traced to their root cause: N+1 queries, missing indexes, queue bottlenecks or undersized PHP-FPM pools.

Queues, jobs & scheduled tasks

Moving heavy work (imports, emails, file processing, third-party syncs) into queues and workers so the app stays responsive.

Payments & integrations

Stripe, Razorpay, Moneris, POS systems, CRMs, webhooks and AI APIs, with server-side verification and proper error handling.

Why work with me

A Laravel developer who also understands the server

Most Laravel problems I am called in for are not purely code problems. A page is slow because of a missing index, a queue silently stopped, or PHP-FPM ran out of workers under load. Because I also run Linux servers, Apache/Nginx, PHP-FPM and MySQL/MariaDB, I can follow a problem from the controller all the way down to the infrastructure and fix it properly.

I have worked as a Lead Software Developer, so I am used to reviewing code, mentoring developers and turning loose requirements into a clear architecture. I write code that the next developer can understand, and I document what I build.

I have also worked in distributed, async teams for companies in the US and India, so remote collaboration across time zones is normal for me: clear written updates, small reviewable changes, and no surprises at deadline time.

How it works

How a project with me runs

  1. Discovery call

We talk through what you need, your deadline and your current setup. You get honest advice, even if that means a smaller job than you expected.

  2. Audit & plan

For existing projects I review the code, server and database first, then send a written plan with scope, priorities and an estimate.

  3. Build in small steps

Work ships in reviewable increments on a staging copy, with regular async updates so you always know where things stand.

  4. Launch & handover

I deploy, monitor the release, and leave documentation so your team (or the next developer) can maintain it.

FAQ

Laravel development FAQ

Which Laravel versions do you work with?

Laravel 8 through 12, on PHP 8.x. If your app is on an older version, I upgrade it one major version at a time so each step can be tested before moving on.

Can you take over an existing Laravel project?

Yes. Taking over stalled or undocumented projects is a large part of my work. I start with a code and server audit, fix the riskiest issues first, and document the project as I go.

Can you upgrade my app to the latest Laravel version?

Yes. I have upgraded a production application from Laravel 10 to 12 through 11, including the move to PHP 8.2+ and Carbon 3, resolving dependency and breaking-change issues along the way.

Do you also handle hosting and deployment?

Yes. I can set up and manage VPS or cPanel/WHM hosting, Nginx or Apache, PHP-FPM, queues under Supervisor, cron, SSL, backups and CI/CD from GitHub or Bitbucket.

Can you build the front end too?

Yes. I work with Blade, Vue, React and Next.js, so I can deliver the full product or plug into your existing front-end team.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. I have worked remotely for clients and teams in India, the US, the UK, Canada and the UAE, and I adjust my hours to overlap with your time zone for calls and releases.
